Essay Writing Competition 2020

The year 2020 was the third consecutive year that Language Services Bureau organised the yearly ‘Essay Writing Competition’ . This competition encourages those interested in languages to contemplate on current affairs and express their views in written. It is easy to express one’s thought in a language one is comfortable in - the essays could be written in three languages English, Hindi and Marathi.



The competition is held for School level, College level and University level students and adults. Here are the topics provided for each group

  • School group -‘Advantages of Home schooling.’
  • College group – ‘How have your career options and choices changed this year, due to COVID -19.’
  • University level and above– ‘How has this year, 2020 changed your perspective on life.’



We received many entries in all the three languages. from around the globe. The winners were declared in the month of December. Every participant received a ‘Certificate of Participation.’ The school level winners were given career guidance as a reward while, the college level and University level winners received a course in translation, free of charge here at Language Services Bureau.
