To continue with our event series for celebrating 40 years in business, Language Services Bureau organized an event on “What’s Technical Writing and Technical Translation” at an Engineering College in Pune.

October 2018 – Essay Writing Competition Organized In Hindi, English and Marathi.

September 2018 - LSB celebrated its 40th anniversary on account of International Translation Day, with an event hosting and felicitating some of our veteran translators in Pune. A panel discussion was held on the topic "Translation - Then and Now" comparing how translation processes have changed in these 40 years

August 2018 - LSB conducted its first 10 day orientation course in Translation for aspiring translators.

July 2018 - Article of Devaki Datar Kunte (Head of Operations) on the emerging trends and future of the language industry in India, was published in the online "Insights Success Magazine".

Devaki Kunte was invited for a talk about “Translation as a Career” at the International Language Lab in BMCC College, Pune in March 2013 to celebrate International Mother Language Day.

Felicitated by NPCIL (Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd.), Mumbai on the occasion of International Women's Day on 14th March 2012. Mrs. Datar presented a speech on "Challenges and Opportunities for today’s Working Women" to an audience of senior officers and women officials of NPCIL HQ, Mumbai, numbering more than 400.

The XVIIIth FIT (International Federation of Translators) World Congress took place in Shanghai from 4-7th August 2008. The theme of the conference was “Translation and Cultural Diversity”, however, various important factors of the Translation and Language Industry were also discussed and presented, which included translation tools, terminology management, translation standards, scientific and technical translation, localization, and so on.
